What Will This Look Like in America?

• Teachers will be trained to teach AI.

• AI basics are still optional subjects in a few elite schools.
• Rural schools, where 65-70% of Indian kids study, haven’t even digitized properly yet.
• Teachers themselves are not trained in AI — many struggle with basic digital tools.
• No India-origin foundational AI model like GPT, Gemini, Claude, Llama, etc., exists even today (2025).

And even worse:

• Private tech giants control AI development in India — not the government.

Without urgent action, the next Industrial Revolution (this time led by AI) will leave India exactly where it was during the British colonial era — dependent and exploited.
