Try asking Siri something remotely contextual — it’ll either say “working on it” or throw a digital tantrum. It’s 2025, and we’re still watching Apple chase the AI bus it should have been driving years ago.

This isn’t innovation. This is playing catch-up while shouting “Think Different” from the sidelines.


2. Samsung’s AI Isn’t That Smart Either

Samsung, on the other hand, proudly flaunts its Galaxy AI powered by Google’s Gemini. Yes, it sounds cooler, and it works better in some areas — especially in on-device summarization and translation. Let’s call it what it is — Apple missed the AI train. While OpenAI, Google DeepMind, and Anthropic raced ahead, Apple chose to polish its logo and play safe. Had Apple invested in or acquired a leading AI player like Anthropic or Cohere, the story might have been different.

Imagine Siri powered by Claude — Anthropic’s brilliant large language model known for reasoning and ethical responses. It could’ve been Apple’s redemption arc. Instead, we got a “smart assistant” that struggles with sentence structure.


5. Steve Jobs Would’ve Bet on the Future, Not Just the Brand

If there’s one thing Jobs did better than anyone — it was seeing the future before it arrived. He bought Pixar when people thought it was just a weird animation company. He launched the iPhone when Blackberry ruled the boardroom.

Had he been here, Jobs wouldn’t wait for AI to become mainstream — he’d shape it, own it, and redefine it.

But today’s Apple? It seems more interested in catching up than leading the charge.
